This performance has been achieved by reconsidering, almost completely, the whole profile of the speaker, especially the surround and cone assembly. The exceptionally large, almost 5cm, stiff surround perfectly controls the linear movement of the cone over a very large range with a perfect piston operation.

The huge 6.3 kg magnet with dual ferrite delivers a maximum magnet power to the voice coil. This latter feature is mounted on a high temperature 7.5cm diameter support which delivers bass sounds of overwhelming power! The DC FR subwoofers exist in two variations with two low impedances. DC FR subwoofers achieve optimum performance when mounted in tuned bass-reflex boxes which allow full control of their explosive potential at ultra low frequencies.
