These distribution amplifiers are ideal for when you need to display the same information on seperate screens such as public information points or in conference rooms where multiple displays make it eaiser for visitors to view the imformation at the same time.
With a simple wired adaptor based VGA splitter the signal level is effectively divided between the two outputs which reduces the maximum cable length between the two monitors, reduces the maximum resolution possible and can lead to a monitors internal electronics complaining of 'No video source'.
The solution is a distribution amplifier. These effectively amplify the input signal to provide an exact copy to each of the outputs - each monitor thinks it is directly connected to the PC - ensuring that optimal transmission of all resolution signals to distances of upto 50m from the source.
