The Citronic TU Series Dual Handheld Wireless Microphone System is a professional 2-channel true diversity UHF microphone system designed for live performances, conferences, presentations, theatres and other demanding vocal applications. Featuring two rugged handheld transmitters with high-quality dynamic microphone capsules, the system delivers reliable wireless audio performance with an operating range of up to 60 metres.
Each channel can be configured independently, with adjustable carrier frequencies, transmission power, seven-band equalisation and customisable display backlight colours. A full-colour TFT display and rotary encoder on the receiver provide straightforward access to system settings, while infrared (IR) synchronisation allows transmitter settings to be transferred wirelessly.
Operating across the 823–832MHz and 863–865MHz UHF frequency bands, the system supports both UK Channel 65 and Channel 70 frequencies. These bands are licence-free in the UK, providing flexible frequency selection without requiring a PMSE licence.
The Citronic TU Series Dual Handheld Wireless Microphone System is ideal for live music, conferences, presentations, theatres, schools, houses of worship, hotels, function rooms, karaoke and professional PA systems.
Its two independently controlled channels allow two presenters, vocalists or performers to use the system simultaneously. True diversity reception and automatic frequency scanning help maintain reliable performance in environments where other wireless equipment may be operating.
The rackmount receiver is particularly suitable for professional installations, touring audio racks and fixed AV systems requiring dependable wireless microphone operation.

The Citronic TU Series combines true diversity wireless reception with flexible frequency management to provide reliable performance in professional environments. The receiver automatically scans available frequencies, helping users select suitable channels and reduce the likelihood of interference from other wireless systems.
Each channel features an independent seven-band equaliser, allowing the sound of individual microphones to be adjusted to suit different voices, performance styles and acoustic environments. This provides greater flexibility than conventional wireless microphone systems with limited audio adjustment.
The handheld transmitters feature durable metal housings and high-quality dynamic microphone capsules. Adjustable display backlight colours allow individual microphones to be identified quickly, making the system particularly convenient when multiple performers or presenters are involved.
Infrared synchronisation simplifies setup by transferring receiver settings directly to each transmitter. The supplied BNC extension cables also allow antennas to be positioned on the front of the receiver when installed in a rack, helping maintain convenient antenna placement.
The Citronic TU Series operates across two UHF frequency ranges that are available for licence-free wireless microphone operation in the UK:
Both frequency ranges can be used without purchasing a UK PMSE wireless microphone licence. Actual channel availability and simultaneous system capacity will depend on local RF conditions and other wireless equipment operating nearby.
No. The system operates on UK licence-free Channel 70 (863–865MHz) and Channel 65 (823–832MHz) frequencies. Channel 65 became licence-exempt in the UK on 30 April 2026.
Yes. The receiver has two independently programmable channels, allowing both handheld microphones to operate simultaneously on separate compatible frequencies.
The Citronic TU Series offers a wireless operating range of up to 60 metres. Actual range will depend on the environment, antenna positioning and local radio frequency conditions.
True diversity reception uses separate receiving paths to help maintain a reliable wireless signal. This reduces the risk of signal dropouts caused by reflections, movement and changing reception conditions.
Yes. Each channel includes an independent 7-band equaliser, allowing individual microphone audio to be tailored to different voices and applications.
Yes. The receiver has a standard 19-inch 1U rackmount design. Supplied BNC extension cables allow the antennas to be mounted at the front of the receiver when required.
Each handheld transmitter operates using two AA batteries. Batteries are supplied with the system.
Yes. The receiver provides two individual XLR outputs, allowing each microphone to connect to a separate channel on a compatible audio mixer. A combined 6.35mm jack output is also available.
